Hi, I'm SABA Niisan! I grew up in Tokyo but moved to Fukuoka a few years ago and have been living here ever since. I fell in love with this place after visiting for business and friends. I love the food, the people, and everything here because it's much cheaper than Tokyo! As some may know, Fukuoka's Saba (which in Engish means "mackerel") is amazing so I nicknamed the site "Brother Saba." Simply put, I am you bro when it comes to enjoying the night life here.

I grew up in the US and I still have friends visiting me from around the world both in Tokyo and Fukuoka.
But sometimes I am busy with work and it is hard to go out, so I started making a list of restaurants I recommend and now I am starting a blog! Not to mention the fact that a lot of my friends still want to go to "soapland," which is one of the things Fukuoka is very famous for, so I have spent considerable time doing research in this field to share some information as well.
